Citi reports from New York that it has been appointed by EntrepreneurShares to provide full exchange-traded fund (ETF) services including fund accounting and administration, custody, and transfer agency for its inaugural ETF fund (www.brianbollen.com).
Headquartered in Boston, MA, EntrepreneurShares has created a rules-based methodology that selects publically-traded entrepreneurial companies and applies this criteria to their selection process.
“Citi’s strategic approach to ETFs was a core factor in our choice,” said Professor Joel Shulman, PhD, founder & managing director for EntrepreneurShares, “Their strong commitment to provide services for the ETF industry is impressive and supports our growth plans,” he added.
“This mandate demonstrates Citi’s commitment to the ETF space as we continue to optimise and invest in our ETF talent and technology across all our markets and securities services businesses.” said Dominic J Crowe, global head of product strategy for Citi’s Custody and Fund Services.
